At Clements Primary Academy we are aware of the Wellbeing of adults (staff and parents) and the children that we have in school. In the last year we have spent more time trying to support everyones wellbeing and PSHE incorporates this.
In Suffolk, MIND offer Suffolk Needs met. They say that “Suffolk’s Needs Met is all about giving you an understanding of what it means to be emotionally healthy, why it is important and how emotional health supports physical health. Most of all, Suffolk’s Needs Met is about us working together to create emotionally healthy places to enjoy living and working in”.

In school we have lots of different resources available. We are happy to work with families to seek out the correct support for them and can refer to additional services such as the emotional wellbeing hub. Referrals’ can be made to them via phone or online for children/ young people aged 0-25
For adults we can access support via https://www.wellbeingnands.co.uk/suffolk/
Often they offer group workshops and additional support for people struggling with their wellbeing.
In addition, there are other agencies within Suffolk that may be able to support with other trauma and if you would like to have chat feel free to contact Jen Gibbs, Family Support Worker at School.
There is evidence to suggest that a habit can be formed/changed in 30 days, so trying to implement positive wellbeing can be worked towards in a relatively small space of time. And remember ”One Positive thought in the morning can change your whole day”
